Comments: bought this for my ato system, pump came in making a horrible noise, then it worked for about 1 hour then back to noise making and barely pumping out anything i called Customer Service they told me to leave it running for 3 hours i did so, but it still did not fix it so i sent it back for a refund

Comments: The pump itself works as advertised and functions as designed. Adequate flow to turn 1/2" PVC into a fountain of filtration. My issue is that I've yet to stop the humming of the filter in the sump...or the excessive vibration it puts into the return piping (causing the whole return system to hum)

Comments: Had to replace a 10 year old Danner 500. I decided to step up one level with a Danner 700. This pump is very quiet and as always easy to set up. If you're looking for a replacement or a new pump the price is good and performance is great.

Comments: Bought 2 9.5s to return from 40gallon sump to a 240 gallon tank. They work great and very quiet, I have them in my bedroom and I can't here them at all. They do put off a little of heat but for me that was an added bonus as my tank is freshwater and for south american chiclids (78-82 F) while my room is around 68 F. Now I only have to run 2 200W heaters instead of 3.

Comments: I installed this pump outside of my 55 gal refugium about 2 years ago. It is VERY quiet and has been pumping water from the basement up to my 75 gal aquariun in my living room. I have only had to clean it once as regular maint. The pump runs warm, not hot. It is made of very high quality. I have a second one as back up, but I'm not sure if I will ever need it. My only complaint is a small one. I wish it had a nice mounting base. I made a simple strap to mount it to a piece of plywood. Great job Danner

Comments: Plumbed it as inline sitting on my living room floor. Noticed it leaking around the propeller housing. checked the O ring and noticed it just seemed way to small to seal completely. unable to find any larger O rings and afraid a replacement would have the same problem, I just put some RTV gasket sealant around it and no leaks. Super quite pump.

Comments: Plumbing, was easy to install in my system. Was pleased at volume of output and the way water is moved around the aquarium. It's compact size fit nicely in my sump. Only problem so far, it's a little noisy since it has no rubber feet like my last pump.
