Comments: I replaced a pure 10k bulb for the 10k/420 combo as I was looking for a little bit bluer look. I have it paired with a 420/460 combo. If you are using CF you know there are not many choices and so considering that I think this is the best choice in the field of limited choices. :) I like the color this gives me in the tank. It has only been on for a little over a week, so I can't compare if growth rates will changes, but the corals seem to like it. It is bluer, but not too blue. The pure 10k just was too yellow for my liking. If you get the bulb make sure it is the correct length. Mine was about an inch longer than my 65w 420/460 bulb and really doesn't fit my fixture. I had to take a screw out of the fan in the light fixture. I don't use the fan anyway so not that big of a deal. but would have been great if the bulb was a little shorter.

Comments: This light puts out great color. The only reason I gave it four stars and not five is because the bulb is much smaller in diameter, thus I had to bend clips in my Current light to hold bulb in place. Great price, great color, very happy.
