Excellent!

420/460 dual actinics by Glendale Joe

Comments: I had dual 460 18w actinics the last few times and they are really nice, but I wanted to give these 420/460 a shot. They make the tank appear more of a bluish color instead of a purple like the 460 did. However, the colors on the colors really pop! The oranges, blues, etc all pop more on the colors. I wouldn't go with the dual 420 setup, I think that would be way too blue for me. I am really happy with the 420/460 combo and think this will be the combo I go with in the future.

Comments: I have 2 metal halide/PC Actinic pendants over 50 gal reef tank. Replaced plain actinics on one side first with Current USA Dual Actinic 03/7100K. Wow, what a difference! Orange button polyps and pink open brain and other corals really show off colors now. Noticeable difference even with halides on. After one month with both pendant's bulbs replaced, growth rate of most photosynthetic corals in general seem faster and they look great to boot! A few dollars more than bargain actinics, but well worth it in my book.
