Phos Reactor Review

Comments:
The build quality of this product is marginal (the first one a received leaked at one of the glue joints) but for the money it works well. I made new filter disks out of 50 micron filter material since those supplied are rather course. The design makes it hard to load (when material is wet from rinsing). The cost to manufacture this reactor is likely $4-$5. There is room in the market for a better product but for $40, this is the best out there. MD was very good about the return.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

One of the elbow joints leaks even though they are glued. Not a big deal but I will have to add some epoxy to keep it from leaking since I hang it external. I specifically bought this model because of the glued elbows that take the water back over the tank. I figured it would have less chance of a leak. So of course mine ends up leaking anyway.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

The Kent Marine Phos Reactor is well built and a solid unit. I would recommend it to anyone. The only thing I don't like is there should be finer sponge disks available.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

I've been using it with Rowaphos-works great to keep phosphate at undectable (with Salifert phosphate kit) levels. I prefer this design to that of the similar "two little fishies" product.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
