The PINPOINT II Calcium Monitor™ is the only truly affordable and accurate digital Calcium measurement instrument. Powered by a 9-volt battery (not included) or the Pinpoint AC Adapter Kit (not included). The PINPOINT II Calcium Monitor™ will operate for approximately 150 total hours before battery replacement is visually indicated on the display. A 9-volt battery should be utilized for occasional readings. For continuous 24 hour monitoring, the PINPOINT™ AC Adapter Kit is recommended.   The PINPOINT II Calcium Monitor™ comes complete with Calcium Meter, Calcium Selective Probe and Calibration/probe fluids. Given proper care, the PINPOINT II Calcium Monitor™ should last a lifetime. PINPOINT II Calcium Probe comes with a 10 foot high supression cable and a BNC connector. Powered by a standard 9-volt battery (not included). Optional AC Adaptor Kit. Replacement Calcium probe. Additional calibration fluid. I find it necessary to calibrate the monitor before each test which ends up taking longer than just using a standard chemical Calcium test. For Calcium testing, the accuracy of a digital readout is not really needed for the standard aquarium since calcium has a wide acceptable range, and standard chemical test kits are easy to use and read. I would not recommend this product to my friends.
