Description

The Bubble Counter is a simple and safe unit for monitoring the dosage of CO2 gas into aquaria and filter components. Designed to be installed in the low pressure section of your gas delivery system, the Bubble Counter visually displays the flow rate of CO2 gas as it is being delivered. This allows fine adjustments to be made and easily verified. An integrated non-return valve prevents water back flow and the holding plate lets you install the Bubble Counter in an easily viewable area. The Bubble Counter is an invaluable tool whether you are feeding a CO2 Reactor for live plants or regulating the pH inside a Calciumreactor, the visual display of flow rate helps ensure you are getting the most from your CO2 gear.

Comments: Beware, the product I received was not the bubble counter pictured. I received a different model of Aqua Medic Bubble counter which works OK but appears less well made. The one I actually received is designed differently than the one in the picture: it does not have an integral check valve, but simply includes a cheap 2 dollar inline plastic check valve that can be purchased at your local pet store and one of the hose attachements is bent rather than straight. I have used the model that I actually received before, ordered elsewhere, and it worked ok, but was very delicate, and eventually one of the hose attachment broke off while refilling it with water. After it broke I ordered the model pictured on this page hoping to get something better made, and instead I got the same one that originally broke on me. Hopefully, if I am careful about opening it to refill, it won't break as quickly this time.
