Below Average

Comments: First the good: the sand looks great and you can really cycle an aquarium fast. Unfortunately, it has several other less desirable traits. For one, it's so dense that burrowing animals have a tough time digging into it. My sand sifting sear star was never able to bury itself in the stuff, try as it might. However, the single most annoying trait is that this stuff flies everywhere at the slightest disturbance. Cleaning the sides or the aquarium is especially difficult as the sand gets kicked up into the water and has a nasty tendency to get between your algae scraper and the glass, scratching the bejesus out of it (if you've got an acrylic tank). And if you have gobies that like to dig, prepare for this sand to coat every square inch of your live rock. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Excellent!

The Best by Fish Guy

Comments: The only way to go. I have see people cycle tanks in as short as 5 days with good amouts of live sand and some live rock. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Excellent!

New to sand beds. by JCV

Comments: I just setup a 72 bowfront with agarlive Bahama Oolite and not only does it look great! But it helps to cycle the tank too. My chemistries have never been better. my tank very stable. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
