Replicating the dynamic natural qualities of sun and moon lighting, the PowerBrite lighting system combines the lifesustaining wavelengths of light with the efficiency of LED technology into one sleek lighting system. The excellent depth penetration adds the natural shimmering effect and rippling glow found on natural coral reefs while producing virtually no heat and consuming little electricity. The PowerBrite LED system is available as a powered lighting system or linking module in 10,000k Daylight, 460nm Actinic, or a 10,000k/Actinic combination.

An easy to install lighting solution that adds vibrancy and movement to any aquarium, each lighting system and linking module includes a complete installation kit that allows for multiple configurations on the tank or inside existing canopies & hoods. All systems feature high-output Power LED lamps with polished conical reflectors designed for maximum output and intensity.

Great

LED's help add some shimmer by BILLY VINTON

Comments: I'm happy with the new UltraBrite's. I currently have a 6x 39w HO T-5 hood, these LED's were added to supplement dawn and dusk transitions from my controller. An added bonus was the shimmer affect that appears in dawn and dusk. Midday shimmer is noticeable but not apparent. I would recommend this product.

Comments: these are great, they produce about 50-60 lumens per watt i would have to say that this is another winner from current, once i seen them at my local fish store, i decided to redo the lighting on my 40g, i had a T5 fixture with 4x39 watt and switched it out for a T5 retrofit kit 2x39 watts and 4 powerbrite's (460nm) mounted everything to the top of my canopy and WOW! it looks like i have a halide fixture, but without the heat and high electric bill. also, i noticed new colors in my corals that i never saw before.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
