The chiller works great and drops the temperature quickly. It is a little noisier then the previous Aqua Logic I had, but the cost savings more then makes up for the difference. It lowers the temp in my reef tank fine. It is a little noisier than I thought....but it is powerful enough it doesnt have to run very often. I do wish I had the dual-stage thermostat instead though....then I wouldnt have to worry about both my heater & chiller running at the same time. Also none of the chillers seem to mention that they re supposed to have a good amount of clearance...front and back....which means that ALL chillers take up quite a bit of room!
