Description

This is the most popular of the smaller AP skimmers as for a little more money you get a lot more performance. Suitable for aquariums up to 1000lts (222 UK gallons).
This is and always was the `Daddy` of the 525/600 size skimmers and can not be recommended high enough for aquariums around the 750-1000 lt range.

The riser tube diameter of the APF600 is 90mm. Compare that with your existing skimmer and you will understand what we are talking about. Tapered tubes simply reduce the opening to cope with a smaller volume of foam.

The picture shown is for an older model AP600 as we do not have a studio picture of the APF for some reason.

The APF600 skimmers are fitted with an Aquabee pump and Deltec needle wheel impellor for unbeatable performance. The 230V version of the APF600 is fitted with 1 pump, drawing in 450lts of air per hour making it suitable for aquariums up to 1000 lts (222 UK gallons)

The skimmer must be supplied with water either by gravity feed from the aquarium or via a separate pump.

Technical Data:

Can be stood either in or beside a sump or beside the aquarium.
Can be gravity or pump fed (supply pump not supplied).
Water throughput - 800 lts/hr, (178 UK gallons/hr).
450 litres of air/hr are produced at the venturi.

Comments: Absolutly the best skimmer out. The construction is top quality. The performance is unbeatable. The only skimmers that can actually beat what they are rated at. Completely silent other than the powerful air noise from the aquabee pump.Customer service is easy to access for troubleshooting. I will only own a Deltec skimmer in future prjects.Well worth the money!!

Comments: Good performer, and a better price than what I paid for mine a little more than a year ago when DOUG was the USA distributor (price gouger). Glad to see Deltec finally wised up and took a look at all the complaints against him (poor service and charging double what the rest of the world paid for Deltec) and decided to go with Marvin for support and Marine Depot for sales. My skimmer had problems for a while when the pump went bad in under a year, and while still in warranty, and, I had to go DIRECTLY to D&D since Doug of D-USA wouldn't send me a pump, or, kept stalling saying he did (over 2 months!) ship it. After I got my replacement, it has worked flawlessly.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
