The fixture is small and compact but lacks an on/off switch. Not a problem with a timer though. Cords are plenty long for remote ballast location and the mounting plate was adequate for flush mounting. The 14k buld produces a nice crisp bluish white very similiar to mercury-vapor. Nice product overall. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
