Please take the time to read the instructions. It's the only basic set I know of that includes both Free Ammonia and Total Ammonia! The instructions clearly explain the difference between the two. I love the pH and Nitrite tests - Nitrate test needs just a little practice to not spill the powder (or maybe I just don't have a steady hand). WELL WORTH the price!
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

This was my first experiance with a real test as I was using the dipping strips before. It wasnt the smoothest transaction. There is a lot more involved with these tests. There are powders and liquids that must be mixed and the time delay is a lot longer. Some tests you must wait 3-5 minutes and others 10-30 minutes for acurate results. However the accuracy of this test is much greater than the cheap dip tests strips. This test does not measure in parts per million (ppm) and does not provide a conversion to read the results. I cant remember what it measures in right now. The worst part about this test is the ammonia test. It has two tests; total ammonia and non-total ammonia. But it doesnt explain the difference or when a specific one should be used. Once this test runs out I will probably try Salifert and then decide from there which one I like better. But at least I trust the accuracy of this test, as before it was unnerving to rely on the dipping tests that I use for my freshwater tank.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
