Warner Marine CalxMAXCalcium is one of the most talked about elements in marine and reef aquariums. It is critical for the formation of a variety of structures, including the skeletons and shells of many corals, clams, algaes and other organisms. Calcium is present in natural seawater at a concentration of more than 400ppm. If Calcium is not added to the reef aquarium, the levels will drop until calcification ceases. Calcification is the process by which organisms utilize the Calcium and Alkalinity in the water to build their own structure and stay healthy. A large population of corals with intense lighting, pure water and sufficient water flow will consume vast amounts of Calcium, Alkalinity and trace elements. Therefore Calcium, Akalinity and trace elements must be added frequently and consistently to maintain levels sufficient for coral growth.

Warner Marine Research CalxMax is a 2-Part balanced ion supplement for maintaining Calcium and Alkalinity in all marine aquariums. Calxmax adds both Calcium and carbonate Alkalinity with major and minor elements by adding equal amounts of parts A and B, two separate solutions in two separate bottles packaged together. Calxmax will maintain Calcium and Alkalinity levels and end Calcium/Alkalinity instability. Calxmax will not disrupt ionic balance and will replenish salts lost due to protein skimming. Some aquariums may experience a slight increase in salinity which can be easily corrected by removing some aquarium water and replacing with purified fresh water.

Inferior competing products are produced using poor quality industrial grade Calcium Chloride, anhydrous form. This inferior Calcium Chloride contains up to 30X the heavy metal concentration, including Lead, compared to the superior quality Calcium Chloride Dihydrate used in CalxMax 2-Part Calcium/Alkalinity Buffer. Warner Marine Research is the only manufacturer to use these fine quality raw materials. It is also highly concentrated, containing over 55,000ppm Calcium, making it highly cost effective compared to lower quality competing products. Most importantly, Warner Marine Research CalxMax 2-Part Calcium/Alkalinity Buffer is highly effective at adding high quality bio-available Calcium and Carbonate alkalinity without the unneccesary impurities found in the competitors products.
