Description

The control interface hardware module (IM513) plugs into a standard 120V AC socket and connects to the base unit with a ten foot cable. The AquaController sends on, off and dim commands to the control interface module which then transmits them over the AC power lines in your home to the remote control modules. The control modules receive these commands and turn AC power on or off to the devices. One control interface module is required per system. My intentions were to control X10 modules. It is setup to control an air conditioner on a 240V X10 appliance module to turn the AC on as a last resort cooling of summer temperatures become too high. First line of defense are DC8 connected fan and chiller. The unit also works great to control other X10 modules I had available since I use X10 extensively around my house. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
