Comments: I have mixed feeling on this one. When it works it is great, but the amount of effort to get it working is the trouble. I find that I constantly have to calibrate this monitor prior to use to be able to obtain an accurate reading. Furthermore, if I don't use the monitor for a couple weeks the probe must be "hydrated" otherwise you get an error message. If you don't mind taking the time to calibrate this monitor then this will work for you. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Of all the dollars I've spent on equipment...this IS the worst product I've ever bought. Like others have said, you have to calibrate every time. Brand new, mine wouldn't calibrate. Had to send it in...worked 3 times, and now won't calibrate again. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: After using this for a few months, I am going to throw it away. Impossible to calibrate after a few tests. It has to be calibrated every time you use it. What a waste of $$$! I'm going back to using my Salifert Calcium test kit. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Unlike this pinpoint Salinity and PH monitors, the Calcium monitor is not designed for "continuous" use. I find it necessary to calibrate the monitor before each test which ends up taking longer than just using a standard chemical Calcium test. For Calcium testing, the accuracy of a digital readout is not really needed for the standard aquarium since calcium has a wide acceptable range, and standard chemical test kits are easy to use and read. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: It is quick and simple to use.It is also accurate. However i thought it could be lift in the sump or tank for continues monitoring, but that is not recommended. Yes i would recommend it. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
