American Marine PINPOINT High-Precision pH Calibration Fluids 7.000 +/- 0.002 (for 10+, $0.85 each) These come in single-use plastic envelope packets, and they are extremely accurate and field portable. Each packet contains enough fluid for a complete calibration (about 30 ml) and is intended to be discarded after use. pH monitor and controllers should be calibrated monthly. It does the job well, and there is ample fluid in the packet to submerge your probe. An added plus is a handy table on the back showing the pH value across a temperature range. Unfortunately solutions like these cannot be reused. For 99 cents, you can't beat the price, but it does hurt to pay full shipping charges on something so inexpensive. Best to buy a few at a time (a good idea for periodic recalibration) or just wait until you're ordering something else and tack a few onto the order.
