Comments: The Water Softener Pillow was a real life-saver for me when I started my new aquarium. It helped to lower hardness in the tap water I was using (which in the area is VERY hard) which was needed to, in turn, adjust PH with another product that would not work with very hard water. Very useful. I would reccomend for anyone living in an area with hard tap water. My only complaint is that you can't let the pillow completely dry out so you have to somehow keep it wet... Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: As advertised the water softener pillow reduces the hardness of water. It's not been as effective as the manufacturer claims but probably closer to 80% of what it claims. It may be due to my water conditions. However, since the city started messing with my water supply it's an easy solution to an otherwise frustrating problem. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: These water softener pillows work great! My tap water is very hard, GH is about 180ppm in my 30 gal tank. About 6 hours after I placed the pillow in my filter it had lowered GH by 50ppm and my Silver Dollar fish were alot more active and seemed happy as well as the rest of their tankmates which include 2 Pictus Catfish, 1 needle nose gar a.k.a. needlefish and 1 Pleco. If you have hard water this works very nice. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Excellent!

Easy To Use by ERIC

Comments: Works great in my power filters. Or, add 2 large ones to the Quick Clear filter holder and it circulates to work effectively with my Hagen Power Head. Recharges in only 2 hrs. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
