Comments: My bubble counter broke, I don't know when. It cracked next to the place where the co2 input fitting goes. Co2 was leaking there and not getting to the reactor, but was not noticeable until I flipped my counter upside down and it was then bubbling at the leak. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Beware, the product I received was not the bubble counter pictured. I received a different model of Aqua Medic Bubble counter which works OK but appears less well made. The one I actually received is designed differently than the one in the picture: it does not have an integral check valve, but simply includes a cheap 2 dollar inline plastic check valve that can be purchased at your local pet store and one of the hose attachements is bent rather than straight. I have used the model that I actually received before, ordered elsewhere, and it worked ok, but was very delicate, and eventually one of the hose attachment broke off while refilling it with water. After it broke I ordered the model pictured on this page hoping to get something better made, and instead I got the same one that originally broke on me. Hopefully, if I am careful about opening it to refill, it won't break as quickly this time. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
