Great book! While it has been around for a while, it still has VERY relevant material on the biology and keeping of stony corals and clams, as well as techniques to curb problems in aquariums.

I LOVE THIS BOOK! and that goes for the second and third volumes as well. A wealth of pertinent information on the reef hobby for the novice and expert alike. I keep referring to the three volume set to answer all of my questions or just to refresh myself. Definitely recommend this book and the second and third volumes...Delbeek and Sprung definitely know their stuff!
