Description

The PS2 silently (less than 30db) pumps 240 gallons per hour at 20 foot head pressure to 640 gallons per hour at 3 foot head pressure through 1 inch male NPT threaded fittings. The latest in materials, including the Noryl housing & impeller, titanium rotor, EPDM high temperature O-ring (to 140F) and carbon graphite/ceramic bearing combine to make a unique leak proof design with line pressures to 50PSI. The pump comes complete with 6ft SJWTA water resistant power cord and features a Run Dry Cutout with thermal switch for safety. The high performance energy efficient 115V/60Hz unit requires only 98 Watts.

Another unique feature of the Poseidon pumps is the mounting bracket designed to allow the pump be mounted in any of four positions: With the output at a 45 degree angle to the left or right, the output vertical or the output horizontal to the left.

Over all length is 7” long including the threaded inlet port. The pump impeller housing is 4.25” wide. It is 4.5” wide at the wire inlet port. It is 5” tall at the outlet port.

The PS2 and PS3 are pressure pumps and will pump to over 25 feet. The PS1 and PS4 are flow pumps and have a maximum head pressure of 18 feet.

Please note that it is normal for this pump to increase the aquarium`s water temp by 4–6°F.

Excellent!

Comments: This is the only truly quite pump I have ever used. I had a Gen-X for about a week and replaced it with this. OMG what a difference. It is dead silent, no noise no vibration. I hate noisy equipment. The loudest thing in my setup are the fans on my lights. Every manufacturer claims their pumps are quite but that is BS. Read reviews from super picky people like me before you buy. There is NO diffence in noise between on and off, seriously. I have had mine running as my sump return pump (sump to chiller to tank) for 2 years with no problems. Highly recommended.

Comments: I have had two of these pumps running continuously for two years without even the slightest problem. If it weren't for the sounds of moving water, you could forget the're running. One pump circulates from the tank to a sump thruogh a chiller, while the other handles the skimmer loop. Plenty of power, silent, reliable and comes coplete with power cord. I can find no fault.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
