Comments: I have been using this light for 8 months and I really love it, it's bright, it looks good, and illuminates my entire tank. Recently, at about the 8 month mark, my T5's started to flicker. the problem got progressively worse and eventually T5's didn't ignite at all. Long story short MD replaced the ballast at no charge (as always excellent customer service) 3 hours into the replacement of the ballast I complete the wiring project and the T5's are back up an running. By the way, replacing the ballast didn't take an electrical engineering degree, but you do have to be a bit handy. The reason for writing this review is that I believe the ballast (both sides - one ballast for each pair of T5's) gave out in less than a year due to heat issues. If I had to do it al
