Comments: I’ve only just recently installed it but it works just fine. The Male Pipe Thread (MPT) works with standard 3/4in PVC thread which makes it very convenient for installation. The grooves are about 1/8in wide, perfect for keeping collecting large particles while keeping small fish out. Construction looks to be hand-crafted but it seems well built, all though aesthetically it isn’t all that appealing. I give it 4 stars.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
