However, I do not have them on a Durso Standpipe setup and they are very noisy (suction sound). I think they might be more quiet if the strainer was solid on half the strainer, lengthwise. I could then set the solid side UP so as to reduce the ability for air from the surface to reach the strainer. Just a thought. Product quality is top notch, however. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
