Comments: I resently purchased the elite 800 air pump for a 10 gallon brine shrimp tank. when i looked over the box I saw the word silant and thanked god because my system of tanks is in my bedroom an sleeping with a loud vibrating pump is impossible. i plugged the pump in and chringed, it was so loud. needless to say i just unplugged it and threw it aside. it does work though, quite well and has a very good output. if you are looking for a product that has decent output yet is fairly quiet search for the whisper pumps. I would not recommend this product to my friends.
