I have not been able to find floating saltwater food so anything I put in the ring just sinks and scatters defeating the purpose. If you have floating food you can't beat it. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends. I had to buy this & it all came together. Now the fish know to swim up to the undulating ring at feeding times and get ALL the food. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
