Description

This ballast will power any metal halide 250W bulb. It does not over-drive the bulb, so output will be at the bulb manufacturer`s specifications. By using a constantly changing, very high frequency, the ballast will light any bulb without flicker. Longer bulb life and other features makes this the best ballast for all metal halide applications.

IceCap uses its unique, patented operating system, which allows you to save energy without compromising light output. By applying lower voltage across the lamp, energy consumption is reduced and lamp life is expected to be increased.

Excellent!

Comments: I have a Odyssea dual 250W HQI Fixture. One of my Ballasts went so I replaced it with this one.....Now I have to buy another one, because this ballast makes a world of difference in the light! The 10k lamp powered by this ballast is WHITE, the other one now looks yellow compared to this -- I switched ballasts and the colors followed the ballasts -- I had no idea that the ballast would make that much difference in the color - I am VERY impressed.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Excellent!

Comments: I bought three of these and thought my electric bill would be sky high in the summer, along with cooling the house. It wasn't, I couldn't believe how low it was.$169 for July for a 2,800 sq foot house
