Comments: If you are looking for something to simply connect up to your supplied wiring harness this won't do it. While the quality is exceptional (way better than the standard harness that comes with the ballast) it only has a connector on the end that connects to the ballast. The remote end has just striped wires, intended to connect directly to the lamp sockets. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Excellent!

Comments: Love it! It's hard to see it from the picture, but the heavy gauge wires for the power supply are wrapped separately from the 18 gauge wires running to the lights so you could in theory connect the power cord to one outlet, stick the ballast in the middle and run the wires to the lighting to bulbs another 15 feet away. Works great for those who would like to mount the ballast farther away from their tank. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
