Description:
Vitamin C has been shown to enhance the immune system of fishes and invertebrates, as well as facilitate the metabolism of fatty acids, and stimulate the production of connective tissue, such as that damaged by head and lateral line erosion, coral propagation, bacterial and parasitic infestations, and wounds. Marine C helps correct vitamin C deficiencies in ornamental marine organisms. Can be used as a daily supplement or when treating damaged/sick fishes and invertebrates, although not a medication. Particularly useful when fragmenting and propagating hard and soft corals.

Directions:
For general use and to aid fishes that are ill, damaged or invertebrates that have been recently fragmented, add 1 ml (cap on 8 oz. bottle equals 5 ml, cap on 64 oz. bottle equals 10 ml) per 50 gallons aquarium water daily.bserve reaction of aquarium residents and adjust dosage accordingly. Do not overdose!

Considerations for use:
Daily use of Marine C provides ornamental marine fishes and invertebrates with a source of stabilized high grade vitamin C compounds. It is recommended that Marine C be added directly to the aquarium in an area of high water flow. Protein skimming and use of activated carbon may be continued when dosing this product; carbon may remove a portion of the vitamin C, however you may find that the benefits of carbon use outweigh the slight removal of active product. Vitamin C is often deficient in aquariums in which no previous supplementation has been done. Do not exceed 1 ml per 50 gallons on a daily basis at any time. Use in conjunction with Kent ZoeconTM and Zoe MarineTM to provide a full range of vitamins and omega-3 fatty acids. This product is not a substitute for ZoeTM. Marine C is buffered but still slightly acidic, therefore it is important that pH and alkalinity be monitored during use of this product. Maintain an alkalinity of 8-12 dKH with Kent Marine Superbuffer-dKHTM. Please see our website at www.kentmarine.com for additional information regarding this and other Kent products.
