Reef Carnivore is a diet created for fishes that consume shrimp, crabs, insects, other invertebrates, and other fishes in the wild. Percentages of protein, fat, fiber, and ash have been found to be optimal for these “high-performance” species. Does not overload fish’s liver with fat. Sources of protein are “natural” to fish, which means they have developed the enzymes to properly utilize these proteins; fish cannot properly process proteins derived from land animals. Fiber keeps digestive tract in good working order. Feeding Instructions: Feed 1 to 3 times daily. Do not feed more than can be eaten in a 5 minute period. Do not overfeed. Great Product by JOHN LIN Experience Level: Intermediate Posted on 10/24/2007 from SANTA CLARITA, CA UNITED STATE Comments: My very large Maroon Clown pair (6”+) love the medium pellets. Took some time for them to get used to the pellets as I had been feeding them flakes with frozen meaty treats. The Dragon Wrasse took a bit longer. The small pellets work very well with the typical small marine fish. All my fish love these pellets. Colors are vibrant and my Maroon pair lay eggs about twice a month since I started feeding these pellets. This is my number one food as I find the nutrient balance to be excellent.
