The performance out beats just about every other bulb out there. The coloring is incredible. Just as the others say, its as blue as a 20k but much brighter and more intense. The coral growth from the phoenix bulb is also one of the good things about this bulb. I have absolutely no complaints about this product and would quickly recommend it to anyone who has metal halide lighting, because i know that they will not be disappointed. I am running these bulbs on the aqua medic ocean lights fixture with M80 ballast. Very crisp white/blue light output. Par levels with these bulbs are much higher then my previous AB 20K bulbs with close to the same color output. I will be buying these again in 12 months.
