Description

The Snapper™ is the quiet like the Dart but it consumes 35% less wattace. It can even be valved back for even lower watts. Ideal applications for this unit are aquariums 75- 150 gallons. The Snapper™ is great for close loop reef systems requiring high turnover. This unit is rated for moderately low head pressure and a maximum flow rate of 2400gph, shut off head of 12 feet and a maximum wattage of 98W/0.9A. Our low speed, 1/8 HP A.O. Smith motors have extremely low heat transfers.

Excellent!

Comments: Efficient, no heat issues, and very quiet. Been running 4 months straight without any problems. By far the best pump I've ever had. Did I mention it's very quiet.

Comments: Love this little pump! It is running a closed loop with an Oceans Motions wave maker. I can find no other pump that moves this much water, at such a low price, with the lowest energy cost, and it's dead quiet! What more could I ask for! It's only been up two weeks now, but my other Reef Flow pump has been running for over a year with out a drop leaking from the seals. The Reef Flows have repaced my leaky Dolphin AmpMaster pumps. They were going through two seals a year!
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
