Comments: I have a 3 ft tall reef tank which requires some longer tools to reach the bottom corals. I was pretty excited to give this tool a try. Since there are two attachments I will give a grade for each: Hand Attachment: B The hand attachment is decent and works well for smalled items, such as very small rocks, shells, debris, coral frags, etc. It fails miserably when moving anything larger because the "hand" does not open very wide. Scissor Attachment: C The scissor attachment is the main reason why I bought this item. It offers the ability to trim my deep corals. It does cut but not with one clean cut. For instance cutting a stalk of xenia (in only 7 inches of water) took 6 snips and some tug tearing before it cut it off. I stopped counting the number of snips and pulls it took to frag my leather at 30 inches deep. I have not tried it on hard corals yet, but I will follow up when I do. Overall I would say, I am looking for a better deep water cutting tool.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
