Great
Great for lifeguard filter

Comments:
This pump came with the lifeguard advanced filtration kit. It sits underneath my 54 gallon bow front reef tank, taking water from the intake and pushing it through the lifeguard micron filter, then through the lifeguard chemical filter, and lastly through a 1/15hp chiller before returning to the tank. I have had it for a year now, sitting underneath on a folded towel - no problems at all, and it has always been quiet, although i imagine if i had it sitting straight on the wood there would be some vibration noise.. but its very quiet as set up.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

loud and unreliable

Comments:
This pump is definitely noisy and dominates the background noise in my apt. I had to replace the ceramic bearing, impeller plate leaked through threads (cut too deep), and today the impeller broke

NOT a Quiet One

Comments:
I needed to replace my original QuietOne pump after 15 years. The 4000HH doesn't compare. It's a big powerhead, not in the same class as the original. It's loud and vibrates.
I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Far from quiet.

Noisier than a Mag 7! Great flow and starts every time though. 55 gallon tank temp up 6F when the pump is running!!! Will never ever buy one again. Eheim or Magdrive next time...
