Comments: I have a 6000 and it rarely restarts and calcifies easily because it runs so hot. I have to disassemble and clean it at least once a month. I can't recommend this pump. I'm forced to use it because of space restrictions. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have similarly rated pumps in terms of gallons per hour, and this one appears to pump less gph than similar pumps. Prefer my mag-drive 18, noise level on both is very low, cost is similar. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Loud, cheap pump....low power and can be tricky to restart. My aquarium is in the basement.... this pump can still be heard in the upstairs bedroom. Replacing after one year!!!!! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Excellent!

Great for circulation by Super closed loop pump

Comments: This runs quieter than my Iwaki pumps. A bit lack luster for skimmer or pressure apps but superior for circulation (closed loop). O-ringed hose barbs are a nice extra. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
