I have a 4 stage R O unit, even with new cartridges, my nitrates would read 10 ppm, I added this add on DI filter to my R O unit and I'm getting no ppm in nitates, I would highly recommend this as a must have for any hobbiest...

This is the second one that I have purchased. They work great. The only problem I have had with the first one is that the O-ring needed replacement after a couple of years and I have not been able to find a replacement. I made a seal out of a peice of rubber.
