Comments: I have a reformed reef tank used for the higher purpose ;) of keeping fancy goldfish. Apparently it was constructed in Europe 20 years ago, as the sump drain system is all metric. My 40mm sump drain hose was cracked and I had to find a hose. Now hose of this type sells for under $1.50 per foot, making a one meter length worth about $6.00. I paid $30 for this kit, which includes three hose clamps, one worth about 50¢ and two special clamps to fit some part of the Tunze unit. I guess they can command whatever price people will pay as they fit other parts of the Tunze unit, I'm assuming it must be a sump. But since I needed 40mm hose and could not find it anywhere, I held my nose and made the purchase. Hey, I've grossly overpaid for a lot more expensive stuff! The hose does what a hose should.
I would not recommend this product to my friends.
