The Via Aqua filtration system is made with only the highest quality parts and materials insuring a perfect canister filter. Via Aqua Modular canister filter is made with 4 heavy-duty clips which works with the built in gasket and recessed lid handles making the pump lid easy to remove. Via Aqua`s new filter media containers with retractable handles simplify setup and cleaning of the filter media. These media containers are designed to allow maximum filtering capacity. Via Aqua professional media containers allow versatility in the setup on mechanical, chemical, biological or resin filtering media. Integrated onto the pump lid are tubing tap connectors which combine shut-off valves, hose connectors and quick disconnect unions which are incorporated into a perfect single unit.

Comments: I finally hooked up my filter after having it for 2 weeks. This is not because I didn't want to set it up right away but rather because the "directions" to set it up were on the side of the box it came in, that's it. No formal printed directions like you would normally get with an appliance, just "on the side of the box". Ugh! Also, I do not know who wrote the directions are where that person came from, but there were serious grammer problems. i.e. periods before a sentence was completed, capitalization in inappropriate places, spaces missing between sentences, etc. It was just very unclear directions. And, not very accurate I must say! There were parts that were included in the box that weren't mentioned, which made interpreting the directions difficult. What I finnally figured out is that this filter is meant for a tank 30 - 50 gallons in size. So, the extra parts would have been used if I had a tank bigger than my 30 gallon tank. Even little things, like plastic gaskets of different sizes were not mentioned in the directions. I almost sent the filter back because of the poor "so called" directions!
I would not recommend this product to my friends.
