The Ocean Runner 2700 is the replacement pump for those of you that wish to change out the Rio 2100 on your Turboflotor 1000. It comes with the needlewheel impeller and all the fittings necessary for an easy swap. This is a quality built German pump 3500 liters/hour Cutoff height 9.6 feet 38 watts Dimensions: 4.75" x 3.75" x 4.25" 6 foot power cord for indoor use only 1 inch male thread inlet 3/4 inch male thread outlet polished ceramic shaft and bearing suitable for fresh or saltwater can be uses submerged or external * Please note that the Ocean Runner 2700 is a modified Ocean Runner 2500 that includes the needle wheel impeller and other miscellanous fitting to fit the Turboflotor stand-alone protein skimmer (does not work with Hang-on type). Bought skimmer used with 4 year old Rio 1700 needlewheel pump, that finally burned up. Incredible improvement in over all skimmer preformance, though I had to restrict the flow of the small pump that provides intake to the skimmer, after installing this pump as a recirculating pump, to allow for the huge increase in over all waterflow, due to the Ocean Runner's impressive water flow volume. Would definately recomend this pump to anyone considering upgrading their Rio to an Ocean Runner for their Turboflotor skimmer. The pump is built very ruggedly, but I don't know yet how it will last over time. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
