After about 10 -15 minutes I could see it going to work on the green water and brown algae. I followed the directions exactly...and by morning my 200 gallon freshwater tank was crystal clear. Even the rocks and decorations were free of algae. Absolutely no harm to my fish. In fact they could not see an inch in front of them in this murky green water and now they swim and school happily. This stuff works like magic!!! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
