Pros: It is relatively quieter and is slightly smaller than the biocube's stock pump. It also has flow control and an optional filter screen which will keep fish or snails from getting sucked into the pump if they get themselves into the return pump chamber. Con: Comes with one 3/4 inch hose adapter for the water return. However, you can go to the hardware store and connect any 1/2 inch threaded pipe or hose adapter to it.
