Captive Purity Refractometer by NIGEL

Comments: Easy to use. Kinda dark using indoor broad spectrum fluorescent or indoor incandescent. Very bright in outdoor natural light. My guess is it uses a frequency selective filter. Looks easy to calibrate but mine was dead on when it arrived. Eyepiece allowed adjustment for extreme clarity...beyond what I expected in a consumer product. Has a solid feel to it. At a third of the price of Atago's refractometer, this is a good unit.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
