Expert Line Extra Strontium 25ml

The use of protein skimmers, intense illumination and modern filtering systems strongly affect the water chemistry of our Marine Aquarium. Only in considering each of the key elements normally available in NSW can we assure a more accurate and dedicated integration/correction to our aquarium. In contrast to many products available on the market that pretend to add these missing elements all together, EXPERT LINE supplements make it possible for an aquarist to restore and maintain each of the key aquarium water parameters within the correct ranges, thereby increasing the health and vigor of the inhabitants.

Elos EXPERT LINE products are manufactured from pharmaceutically pure salts under strict control in modern facilities designed for the preparation of high-purity pharmaceuticals. They are free from synthetic additives and contain no nitrates, phosphates or silicates thus avoiding adding undesirable by-products to the water. Mixed in sterile environment, packed using dark glass containers to avoid contamination and blended to provide sustained bio-availability in the medium-long term rather than simply increasing in the short term the targeted element these additives offer maximum durability and quality thus improving the biological/chemical equilibrium inside our tanks.

Elos Extra Strontium, an additive of the EXPERT LINE, is a very efficient and highly concentrated additive that contains Strontium and a tiny quantity of Barium in a highly bio-available formula. Strontium is utilized by corals and holds a similar importance as calcium in maintaining a vigorous level of growth. Evidence has shown that depleted strontium is detrimental to the growth of corals. It is then important to regularly add this element to densely populated aquarium, but it is also important not to exceed recommended levels.

If Strontium achieves levels lower than 6-8 ppm, adding a strontium supplement may be necessary. Unfortunately many Calcium supplements on the market contain, normally by "accident" added strontium (as in the case of calcium carbonate with impurities of strontium carbonate), making it impossible to determine the correct dosing level. Apart from dedicated strontium integrators in all our integrators as well as in all our additives and Fish food we use highly pure elements which do not contain Strontium at all. This will simplify the addition of this element and its control inside the aquarium water.
