It's not really a white light it lights up with a lavander color. However it does provide a good spectrum. So far I haven't had any problem with my corals adjust. I'm assuming the 12000k is the white light by this manufacturer. I also added Antinic + bulbs and those bulbs are great. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
