When substrate, gravel etc. get caught in the cleaning pad of aquarium algae cleaning magnets (which does occur from time to time) you can just disengage the inner assembly and it will float to the top so you can clean off the scrubbing pad. No more scratches.
Lighter inner cleaning assembly makes for a stronger magnetic attraction, better cleaning ability and easy maneuverability around corners.

Excellent!

Well worth it! by Dwayne

Comments: Seems a little expensive? I already said, it is well worth it! When disconected it doesn't rocket to the top of the tank, it 's gentle. If you don't have one and are considering it, consider no more!

Comments: I had the old version that sank when it came off. Now whenn it does, my arm doesn't get wet. This is the only way to go.
