Comments: easy to setup, took only one set of calibration fluid to calibrate. it has been setup for a few days now with constant metering. i will probably never have to touch it again for a long while. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Great

Comments: I bought the product several months ago. Much easier than test kits that are hard to read. One thing, don't forget to clean it!! I didn't and it started to read higher and higher. I started to worry something was wrong as the pH was hitting 8.6! After a couple of days using vinegar to lower it (an excellent way to lower PH) I finally looked at the probe and the glass bulb was covered with coralline algae. I put the afore mentioned vinegar to better use and soaked the probe (10-15 min) and cleaned it gently with a soft toothbrush. Recalibrated and it's back to normal, and so is the tank. Although the mfr says "No other cleaners are necessary or recommended" it may be the only way to remove encrusted coralline algae. I've also read that bleach is good for removing green algae. Also, get more calibration solution (7 & 10pH) and/or make one using Borax as you should recalibrate once a month. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
