Excellent!

Comments: I purchased this fixture to replace my 175 watt metal halide setup I have on my coral popagation tank. I originaly purchased the Current USA to save a little money on my electricity bill but soon after setting it up realized that the quality of light output was far better than the more expensive halide fixture I was running. The dual cooling fans and moonlight are a definite plus as well. As I said...this is a very nice product, in more ways than one. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: In all of my other fixtures, the moonlights are blue. I was disappointed that these are white. I don't know if that is contributing to my problem, but now I have a real brown algae problem that I've never had before. I also would like to know if there are taller "legs" I could purchase for this fixture. Maybe the light is too close to the water. I've done 2 massive water changes, but if I leave the light on for even 3 or 4 hours, the rusty brown algae takes over in that length of time. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Excellent!

Comments: For the price this light is great. I have this on one of my twin 29gal's and this light actually looks brighter and cleaner than my 75's new 48" coralife. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Below Average

Ballast Failed by Scuba

Comments: It is a nice light, but the ballast failed after 2 years and the fan has become noisey. I will order a new ballast and fan - fix it myself. I am a bit unhappy with today's short life products. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Great

Compact USA lights by David C.

Comments: Great new lights for my 40 Gal. might go ahead and soon buy for my old 150Gal. flourescent lighting. They have a much brighter light output. The lunar light is amazing.
