Excellent!
Excellent small light source by GM

Comments: I was very impressed with this bright but low watt LED source. I switched from a 65W compact white/actinic light source in my sump with two PowerBrite LED strips. I would recommend the Solaris for the main tank but if you are running any lights in the sump or have a small nanotube, LEDs will save you $$ in the long run while maintaining the proper light source. Please keep in mind that even though these lights penetrate deep you will probable need to buy more depending on the width/length of your tank/sump.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

save watts by Joe

Comments: Works as advertised. I would only use 1 of these with each 4x1w 10000k light. The blue is a little weak. Reached the bottom of my 30" deep tank which is surprising. Replaced 3 sunpaks using 288 watts with 5 led's using 20 watts.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Great
Good additional light by Rick Haines

Comments: I purchased a power brite LED strip and an extra module. difference between the extra module and the original is the power supply - The LEDs give off beams of light that are quite powerful, that reach the bottom of my 39 gallon high tank but have very little diffusion, so you really can't use these to light a tank unless you get multiple ones and stagger them. I estimate to really light up say a 50 gallon tank to the level you need for corals you would need at least 16 or more. They are not waterproof so you have to make sure you cover them with plastic or have a piece of glass or acrylic between them in the water (this is a pain) Kind of hard to mount as well - they come with clips and hardware to put them in a canopy. Pay close attention to the dimensions. The light they give off looks great, and they are a good supplement to a flourescent lighting system for a reasonable cost.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Glitter lines with T5's! by PEDRO RIERA

Comments: I love this product. My corals love this product. I never wanted to run Metal Halides due to the heat and the additional energy required to run a chiller. But I was soooo jealous of the way my buddies' tanks look. Now I have the look and the benefits without the heat. With the 10000k's on, the effect is subtle. But with actinics, it is a dramatic improvement, beautiful. I run them all day long.

I like the addition by Leafer

Comments: Considering that I only have PC lighting, I like the addition. It fits well for my application. A bit over priced imo. I added a combination of white and blue/white. If I could redo it I would just get white. My aquarium looks more like an oil painting than a spray paininting now. Its very subtle but there is more of a feelingh of sun light. Cheap to opperate and no heat issues.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
