Despite living in the Netherlands the need for a chiller became apparent these summer days. This chiller looked fit for the intended use to bring down the water in my 50 gallon freshwater aquarium to 68F in the morning from 75F in the afternoon. Had to provide for 115V AC from our 230V AC lines, but 50c/s was the gamble. After only 2 day's use I'm already impressed by it: chilling power looks ample, no problem at all to install. Pity there is no "pump on board", alas. There is some noise, but no problem: chilling is overnight, of course (as mother Nature does). Moreover: it looks great! Many thanks!
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

This chiller is great for tanks under 50 gallons; cools with ease. Set up is a breeze: locate about 2feet away from wall, add in/out tubes(I used my return pump as the chiller pump, using a ball valve to regulate flow), plug in, set thermostat, and enjoy. Make sure you clean the filter, have the right amount of flow( min. 350gph), and make sure there is about 2feet around the chiller to let air pass with ease.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

This is a decent chiller. It needs tons of air flow around it, so make sure you have space for that (2ft by 2ft). I used a Maxi Jet 1200 for the pump, which works well. It was easy to install. I have a 30 Gal cube sps tank with a 30 Gal fuge, approximately 40-45 G of water. It cools the amount of water ok. For the price, you probably wont find anything comparable.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

I bought this for a 50 gallon tank so far it is working great, we are in the the middle of a heat wave already 100+ and its doing fine. You definatly need to have good air flow around the unit as it puts off a lot of heat.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
