I have 3 Eheims now, the 1262,1250,and 1046, and all 3 are dead silent. I have to feel them to make sure they're running! Very easy to maintain. Cool operating temp as well. From here on, if I need a pump,it will be an Eheim. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
