Comments: i'm useing it in my 125 gal freshwater tank , i have it hooked up to a eheim 2028 filter. i'm useing it with a tee junction so i have two intakes to my filter. i had to modify it twice. i had to take out the telscopic tube and replace it with a eheim inlet strainer tube that fit my filter tubing. than i had to drill three little holes in the intake tube to let a little more water in it faster because it was sucking in air without the extra holes in it. but now it working fine. and it is kepting the surface clear . Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

For which Eheim filter? by TIM

Comments: I tried this product with my Eheim 2028 (Pro II) filter and it is not designed for it at all. I couldn't see how this would work with any Pro II or Pro III Eheim filters. The tubing is too small to connect on the intake side and the suction is too much to where you would need to make the T-connection they suggest with the other older, smaller filters. By doing that you then have two intakes in your tanks, the original and the skimmer; not what I would want. They do not mention how to use it with the newer model Eheims, so I don't think it is intended for them but they should mention that. It would probably work well with the newer models if they updated it to fit and handle the suction. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: No pumps needed!!! Connects straight to your canister filter. Not like a built in skimmer box. Skims your water surface like a "VACUUM" cleaner and also filters dirt from the bottom of your tank like a regular filtering device. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Excellent!

Great Product!!! by Plant Master

Comments: This item is perfect for my planted tank. You can shut off the surface skimmer if you want and extract water from the bottom only or you can have both inlets running at the same time. I love it. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
